Have you seen young people stop coming to GNC because they are too old? Or groups of teens hanging around in your community who have never heard the gospel? You want to share with them, but they are too old for the programmes you offer. How can you reach and teach them?

In this workshop we will spend time thinking about:

The characteristics of today’s teenagers (Gen Z).
The Youth Challenge programme—why this should be considered in every country and how it can benefit the ministry.
Practical ideas on how to implement Youth Challenge in your area. You will see an example of the programme in practice.

Colin Hylands

Colin Hylands is from Ireland and has been associated with CEF for many years, first as a volunteer. For more than ten years he has served as CEF Ireland Youth Challenge Coordinator. He also has the privilege of helping train workers in other countries as they seek to establish a Youth Challenge ministry. Colin is married to Victoria and they have two teenage children, Nathan (16) and Kezia (13).
